NEVER / ALWAYS ???
*and*
What must you ALWAYS do...
to have a succesful day? I'm not talking about a perfect day or long term success. I'm not even talking 100% compliance. You may fkcu it up on the regular.
What invariably leads to ruin and what promotes your success One Day At a Time?
For me:
NEVER - Eat in the bedroom. It leads to grazing until I fall asleep.
ALWAYS - Weigh and measure my food. Portion control makes for calorie control. Even eating out I separate my 'portion' before I dig in.

LV'N MY RNY. WORKING FOR ME BECAUSE I WORK FOR IT.
Never...
1. keep bottles of alcohol around the house
2. buy two for one specials on food i.e. snacks, burgers, etc.
3. go grocery shopping without planning in advance
4. date someone who likes to eat, excessively
5. eat in the car
Always...
1. keep alcohol put away." out of sight, out of mind" lol
I've grown accustomed to drinking wine with my meals. I really don't need the extra calories.
I'll save it for a weekend treat.
2. avoid anyone and anything that is given away for free. there's a cost for everything. somebody's got to eat the extra burger, free soda, or candy bar, and it will probably be me. I've been known to pay more for a la carte so that I can control my access to food.
3. If I don't know what I'm going to cook, I get fustrated and head to the frozen food aisle. Everything's processed, full of salt and ready to be nuked. Eating is one thing that I can not be casual about.
4. it's a matter of self preservation.
5. make your meals count. eating on the run often means calories that are unaccounted for. eat at home or in whatever place that makes it real for you.

...eat yogurt for breakfast if you're not working from home. Trust me on this one.
...drink before 30 mins after eating.
...skip breakfast
Always...
...bring bottled water to work to sip on regularly.
...try to eat your meals away from your desk.
...go for a walk (no matter how short or long) after you eat.
Eat and watch TV or some other activity that will take your mind off of how much or how fast you are eating.
Always
Monitor your output! If you get up from the toilet and it looks like a big a@@ boa constrictor got loose from the circus and invaded your home....more than likely you are eating too dayum much!
