What personal rules have you set based on your own particular issues?  We need the rules.  We need the basics.  They are there to save us from ourselves.  Tell the whole truth and be accountable.  Do you stick to the basics every day?  Do you set additional rules of your own to avoid self sabatage? 

Rules suck @$$.  It can feel like a prison keeping us from doing as we please.  Yet doing as we please is its own prison.  Not just imprisoned in fat; but, imprisoned by the desire for excess over saiety.  That feeling of never having enough.  Masking your emotions.  Which is the more miserable state?

I either have to stop playing the fool or change my sig line.  I am not eating sensible and I am acting like a glutton too.  Its emotional eatng of course.  That coupled with breaking my personal rules about where and when I eat. 

Calories are in maintenance range but they need to be in weight loss range.  Net carbs are fine but I've lost my mind eating protein bars and popsicles.  Total carbs were driven up by sugar alcohols.  Protein is where it should be as are my ratios.  I lost track of my liquids but they are within range for sure if not at my ideal. 

I'm all out of popsicles but I've got a ****load of protein bars.  I will behave myself today.  I must adhere to the rules today.  Help me Oh Lord      .

I hope to be in full swing by Monday. I've got too much emotional ish to deal with right now. I've decided to take a break from relationships (of the romantic kind) and concentrate on myself.

The emotional mess can really halt progress.  We have got to put ourselves first.  Its the only way I can see being able to do this.    Good looking out for yourself.

I'm being accountable but today I could eat a bear.  Hunger is going crazy.  Trying to continue to do right.  Planning to start drinking more water to fill my evening and my belly.  May eat a few pistachio nuts.  Monday will be a better day. Take care all,

I know that I am having difficulty because I do have have days when I binge on sweets. I will go for weeks and nothing....plus I think I am really going to need to go carbless...to get off this stall. I made a lot of strides while away but honestly I think I became a little too dependent on body cleanses.

Most cleanses rely on laxatives and diuretics.  Stop using them and your system goes back to normal or worse, gets blocked up

We know to avoid what we can't master control over.  Find that substitute for the sugar.  There's nothing like the real thing but something will get you through the cravings.  Or, perhaps its going it cold turkey that's best. 

Come on girl, you know you can do this.  Focus on your goals.

I have the stomach flu since Thursday.... Question.... how do you gain weight when you have the stomach flu?  gained 2 pounds

I am the last person to explain weight gain as I am a frequent traveler on the fat retention express .  I have had unexplained rapid weight gain since 5 weeks post op.  I hit a low then float up and down about 15 lbs for six to eight weeks before loosing another oz.  I also gained with the flu but it was closer to 20 lbs.  I still have half of it to loose. 

A couple pounds is likely just a normal fluid fluctuation.  When the scale climbs steady day after day for a week or so, then I'd question.  Hope you feel better real soon.
