It looks like Santa brought Vivica A. Fox a fiancé this year.

The actress is set to wed Omar (Slim) White, a club promoter from Atlanta and her boyfriend of one year.

The couple got "engaged the day after Christmas," her rep told the Daily News.

According to People.com, the pair spent two days at the Ritz-Carlton in South Beach, Fla., where White, 27, proposed with an 8-carat diamond ring.

A source told People that Fox, 46, "is over the moon – so excited, so in love" with White, who wants to have children.

"Vivica said she has never been happier and looks forward to living part-time in Atlanta where Slim works," the source said. "They are both eager to start their lives together and have a family."

Fox, who in 2009 hosted a reality show called "The Cougar," was previously married to Christopher (Sixx-Nine) Harvest for four years. They divorced in 2002.

In August, White announced – via press release – that he and Fox had split, only to recant hours later.

"I want to clear the air about the rushed statement released yesterday about Vivica and I breaking up. Sometimes a person may act out of anger," White said, apologizing for "overreacting instead of letting time take its course."

Shortly after, Fox told the Daily News' Gatecrasher column that they were "fine."

"All relationships have their ups and their downs," she said in a email. "I'm soo proud that Slim was man enough to clear up the air. He is a very good man with a great heart!

I think women are always viewed worse than men in this area. Older men/younger woman is always accepted but when the tables are turned....head and eyes start rolling. As long as the person is mentally mature...with some life experience and past relationships...I say do the dang thing. I would not want to be someones first relationhship though. Children would also need to be a consideration cause this oven is closed for business.LOL! The person I am with is 8 years older than me and I used to always say that I did not want anyone plus or minus 5 years. Well....my pool shrunk tremendously based on that superficial criteria alone. 

I'm all about the cougar love and wish her much success! Although I must say she doesn't have the best track record when it comes to dating and marriage.

LOL! Its funny you say that because my ex husband looked so much younger than me. He was only 4 years younger and yet my weigh made a difference in how old I looked. Well...one time I had to drive him to a doctors appt and his doc had the nerves to say, "I am going to let your mother hold this lab slip. WTF! I was so upset but I do look so much younger since I shed all this weight. I wonder if other WLS patience see it too The Pre and Post op pics of OH show a remarkable difference for some.

I think Vivica's fiance looks younger too because of his dress. If I was going to be with a younger man....he would have to be a little more conservative and not so thuggish with his dress. I can't take the baggy pants at all!!

Weight loss can work in the opposite direction too. I've seen people lose weight and look much older because the chubby cheeks are gone and takes away that "cherub" look. The fat melts and leaves wrinkles..lol. I'm hoping mine works like yours did and takes years away from my appearance.

Like Lee said I think Vivica likes that thug steelo. Notice that once Nick Cannon married Mariah he went from baggy pants to stepping out in suits on a regular. I like that.

My face definetly looks older.  I have that turkey neck and the smile lines from the nose to the mouth.  All skin.  MsMD does not have that issue.  She looks like she was never large.  

Thankfully it is slowly tightening up but it will never be like it was.  Still I don't want those extra chins back, lol.

a friend of mine does the cougar thing and thats how she rolls...mo power to her...i cant do it on SOOOO many levels, #1 being i need to be intellectually stimulated and rarely do "youngins" have that in them yet...being a teacher, i always imagine "is this one of my former students?"...eeewwww....i feel so pedophilish (sp???) if i go there...
