Yes I am venting.........My surgery anniversary date is 02/12, and I know I am not going to make my personal goal.  I feel so defeated.  But I am not going to give up. I have lost around 120 pounds and I am thankful, but was just hoping I would make goal.  I feel so much better i;m no longer held in bondage with my size, even though I haven't reached my goal  yet I have no regrets of having the RNY........ The best is yet to come..

120 lbs in under a year is amazing.  It took me 17.5 month, over a year and a half post op, to loose 98 lbs.  We get caught up in a time frame but we can do all the right things and still not get there when we want to.  We will still get there.  That's what matters.

Congrats on the 120,  Hope you can hit your goal.  Keep trying, even if you don't make it by your anniversary you still can make it.

Thanks Kells!  I hate to be whiney, because I am truly blessed, for the first time in the a long time I feel good about me!  This weight loss thing can be very emotional.  I try not to compare myself with other people's journey but that's hard not to do.  I wish you all the best on your journey as well!! i must say these size 14 feel and look much better than the size 26/28 that I was in.

Congrats to you on your great progress!!

As for your timeline, I think you are imposing stress on yourself where you simply don't need it.  Be good to yourself & let the date business go!  You will make goal. Your weight is really not associated with a calendar.

I think  you have done an excellent job! 120 lbs is a lot of weight and you deserve a ((((HUG))))!
If you haven't met your goal so what, you are well on your way.  I love your success and please keep up the hard work :)

I'm 8 months out and only 2 lbs from "100" and I can't seem to shake the 2 lbs. It's hard, but eventually we will be where we want to be.  God is good!

Take care
Shontel
