Happy Holidays & What I know for sure

I started making my sweet potato pies this morning and  I'm going to a chicken and waffle brunch today ahhhhhhh. But on December 27th it's on, I say the 27th because I'm being realistic because I will munch on Christmas dinner left overs....mac & cheese, sweet potato pie & oyster dressing w/gravy and other carbs I usually stay away from.

WHAT I KNOW FOR SURE:  This WL journey is hard as hell but worth it! I will refocus on making my lifelong healthy low carb dietary habits a daily habit.  CARBS are the DEVIL.  I will reach my weight-loss goal in 2011. I will exercise on a regular basis.  I will not allow holidays reshape my eating habits in the future; treats and special events surrounding food are a fact of life and I have to limit how much I treat myself and know when to CUT IT OFF!.  I know for sure that BAF and OH are a support system that I must always stay connected to in order to stay on course.  I must take ALL of my vitamins and supplements on a daily basis.  i KNOW FOR SURE THAT A BIG THANKS GOES OUT TO ALL OF YOU WHO OFFER LAUGHS, ADVICE AND SUPPORT.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE

A Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and Wonderful Day to you and all my BAF sisters and brothers as well.

Yes, carbs are evil and my body is proof.  My rings which fall off post op were stuck the morning after I had two little chocolate dipped butter cookies and two fun sized peppermint patties.  That's all it took; 200 cal for my fingers to swell overnight.  Along with the rest of me of course.  This is why LOW CARB LIVING IS A MUST for me.

I have committed to moderation this Christmas.  I do not need to taste everything.  I can have a little on Christmas Eve, something else on Christmas Day, and something else on Boxing Day (26th).  This way I get to have it all without over eating for three solid days.  Now just pray I can stick to my plan!
