You feelings and experiences are SO valid and YES with time things get better and better.  That first month is a b*tch for most!!

Make sure if your Protonix isn't doing the trick try something else.  Also maybe give Extra Strength GasX tablets a try.  My friend brought me some after about 2 weeks and it did a world of difference for my gas/reflux.

Another  Vsger here.   I did not experience any of this.

However,  I had read other issues as such on the VSG board.

It does get better with time.

Hugs and prayers..........

Hang in there. While I was at the hospital, I was in a paralyzed state for 2 days just feeling like crap. I got home and within a few days I was back in the hospital because I was dehydrated due to the lack of fluid intake. It hurt to swallow and it would take me all day long to drink one isopure. I felt like I was drinking acid (due to the hernia surgery too). It took about 30 days to feel semi normal. I was weak and my walking consisted of taking steps to the bed, bathroom and couch. I was so out of it that I felt like I had been run over by a train, I just stared off into space all day & could not even watch TV. Well, it did get better. Now, I have just been diagnosed with GOUT less than 2 weeks ago. My Dr told me that the way he treats it is by numbing my toe, removing the fluid & injecting it with steroids. At 24 hrs I was better but 48 hours later, full recovery. He also told me that if I ever have another flare up to not waste time with over the counter medicine but, to come back and he would do the same course of treatment. With that said, speak healing over your body as this to shall pass! Stay encouraged it will get better!

Hang in there!  It will get better and you will be able to look back on this and be thankful for your choice!

My best to you on continued success with WL!
