13 Week Challenge: Ending Week 11

Yeah, I'm late...actually had to earn my pay this week... 

Heeeyyyyyy my New You by the New Year Challengers!
 
How was it this week?  Did you do anything different from your first few weeks.  Did it show on the scale?  How was your eating, drinking, and exercise?  What kind of changes, if any, will you make going into the coming week?

Two months down!!! Only 2 weeks to go.  Lemme say that again,ONLY TWO MORE WEEKS LEFT !!!

I avoided the scale like the plague this week.  It's TOM and I didn't want the scale to steal my joy from last week!

I did give into my cravings.  Those dayum hormones are a bytch!   Men will never know...feels like I'm a crackhead searching for a hit...but of something sweet.  SMH!!!

I did get in some exercise, but from this point out I'll have to rely on my diet.  If anyone wants to take over the daily exercise thread for about 6 weeks, that would be COOL!

LET'S GET IT!!!

MSW will not settle

I was awful on Monday with my highest cal day since wls. Way over the top.  I'm back on track, cutting calories but staying off the scale because I am retaining water something fierce. 

I don't think I will make my goal of having about a 10 lb cushion below my goal weight. Not by the new year but I am still working it.  In weight loss mode, cutting and cycling calories until Christmas Eve, off until Boxing Day (26th) then back on it until New Year's Eve. 

I don't expect to get al the way there but I have not gven up.  From month one my wl is slow and alternates with weight gain.  These pounds between goal and ideal are no different.

Sorry I haven't been posting weekly-my scale needed new batteries. Anywho I'm down a total of 10 lbs since we started the challenge, unfortunately my goal was to be down 20 lbs. Seeing as my exercise hasn't been what it should be I know I can't complain.

This week held many challenges and Distractions, Distractions, Distractions..

Snow & road freezing, terrible weather, School closing early, Sick children, TOM, Teen drama, holiday celbration, family expectations, work deadlines, church obligations, Children's sporting events, and of course shopping  should I go on..  Somehow "they" say we make it look effortless, what ever.

Got in 4 good days of exercise last week.  Should have been 6.  Stayed low carb/sugar for the most part.  I did eat more than a few handfuls of cashews on Saturday and Sunday.  Also my TOM- scale heavy every time..

Scale did not move.  I won't complain. 
        2011 goal                                  It works if you work it!
