Most of you guys know I'm a globe treker and spend a lot of time out of the country and enjoy seeing and meeting new people and things.

Well it has come time to remind you all that on my last trip to Ireland, Wales, Scotland, England, This past summer I got a lot of people telling me where they wanted to go next summer.   Just wondering if anyone has been taking steps to assure that they can go where they want to go.

Have you saved any money?
Have you figured out how long you want to stay?
Have you planned it out?
Have you looked up the transportation lines?
Have you looked into taking time off?
Have you decided who you are going to go with?
Have you gone online and looked up the surrounding areas and points of interest?

I have done all of those things and I am still in the planning and thinking about things phase, but soon I will be getting serious.

SO WHERE YOU GOING ?   Remember it doesn't cost anymore to travel than it does to pay bills, it's all about priorities and how bad you want it.

HAPPY TRAVELS

I'm planning for Winter 2012.  I turn 50 that January and I will mark my half century.  Still in the research phase but I have checked out the sites you sent me.  This Summer I'll be squirreling away $$$ for my birthday vacation.

Cause that's when I'll have the $$$, lol.  I celebrate everything in life but I just can't usually travel to celebrate.

Normally I take liesure vacations.  I like short flights, theme parks, beaches, cruises.  Not into long travel time, all day tours, etc.  But, there are a few places I'd like to see where there are few other options.

Ok, Cash can be a hinderance to some, I hear you.

I'm with you on short trips, even though I tend to spend my summers out of the country I still love little short trips and car trips, they are fun.   I LOVE AMERICA !!!

I went away 2-3 times a year when I was working.  Early 'reirement' equals always broke for me, lol.

I get antsy after two hours in flight.  Don't care for long car rides either.  Used to love the train but lately it attracts a real low rent type of traveler.  Still I like the relaxing motion.

Aruba sounds cool.   I find mini trips really fun, especiall if they are car trips and I have a lot of snacks.
