BAF needs CPR, or a shock with those dam chest paddles

Hey Lee!!

I've been coming to this board for almost 3 years now. I love this board but its not the same... but I know I need motivation from "people like me."  I don't post my weight issues on my fb account that's personal.  I see check the boards 3 or maybe 4 times a day.

yeah it's not the same, there use to be a time when a post would get hundreds of comments and now it is one.   There would be a huge rollover of pages because there was so many threads in one day.

I miss those days,  you been around long enough to remember them good ole days.

It is sad Lee.   I do post on facebook with friends and mostly with natural hair groups. This used to be the place I would spend hours and couldn't wait to get to everyday. Now, there are days I don't even get on the computer at all. I miss how lively this place used to be. I've learned so much and I used to pay it forward but right now I'm in a place that is not good and I don't have the cheery disposition. I'm grateful to those who are trying to keep this board together.

I feel you!  I'm on the Singles Board and Exercise Board on here - not BAF so much.  Still strong on FB - but I'm in a 'transition' phase right now overall.........

Yep,  see we were some of the last straglers and now we falling off too.   We need to either breath some life in this mother.

Lee you are soooo right.  I have been coming here for years and this board gave me the encouragement to finally have my surgery in Sept.  This board was popping back when I first came on with Ms. Cookie, Inspire, Ihavecateyes and so many more.   I do miss everybody but it is what it is.  I would like to personally thank you, MSW and MM  ans some others for continuing to encourage us.  I may not post here often but I'm here everyday.  I'm not a big facebook fan.

I do lurk a few times a week. 

After my vacation (leaving tomorrow).... I will be back ~in my Terminator voice~ LOL

The good ol' days!  I miss it too.  I'm on the FB group but even that doesn't have the same type format that we have here on BAF.  You may get 1 or 2 new posts and then a whole bunch of comments, whereas here, there was always something to talk about.

I haven't been on here as much as in the past, I'll make it a point to stick around.  BAF was invaluable to me in my time of need and I'd like to be here for others.
