A commercial, likely for some weight loss snake oil, stated that the average person gains 5-7 lbs during the holidays. Even at my biggest I never gained that much from Thanksgiving Day to New Year's Day. They just want you to buy their snake oil. However, we've got to keep our objecives in mind.
Sooooo, tell the whole truth and be accountable. Are you going to hold it together this holiday season or seek out snake oil in the new year?

Don't know about you, but for me its MERRY CHRISTMAS time. Got cool jazz carols streaming in the background and Its a Wonderful Life loaded in the dvd player.
Yesterday:
The flu is downgraded to a cough and runny nose. Its been almost two weeks already damnit! Anywhoo, with the break in fever my calories are dropping and appetite is under control. Unfortunately, take out resulted in higer than high carbs and just my minimum protein. I went for the bread and fries instead of protein first.
Sadly, the day's ratios are not far off the normal American diet but lower in calories. Not good for us carb sensitive types. Since wls I can see the bloating from carb consumption and feel the puffiness in areas of my body. All things masked by body fat in the past.
So far today just protein and veg. Going to make it a respectable if not good day.

Well looky, looky! Guess whose band has had a severe attitude adjustment!! FINALLY!!
I got in a chicken tender this morning for breakfast (it just smelled so good, I was willing to risk it!). The rest of the evening is going to be protein soup, and some medifast hot chocolate (I love that stuff) and plenty of water to make up for some dehydration I've been having since my band closed up on me.
I'm feeling just fine, so I'm going to get in some spinning shortly too!!
