LV'N MY RNY. WORKING FOR ME BECAUSE I WORK FOR IT.
Sticking with protein but still eating more than I should with Christmas on the way and no exercise. Every time I think this flu is leaving me it starts back up again. Fortunately I am less hungry and eating better and less. Its time to go liquids only for a few days starting Monday. This can't possibly continue another week.
I did not complete yesterdays tracking but carbs are much better, protein way up there and calories still too high. I'm still in the maintenance zone and that's what counts most. I'm feeling lazy so I may not track today but I will behave myself.

Howdy!! Day 1 of the 5 day pouch test is almost over! Oddly enough, my band chose today to shut down on me. I mean this sucka is shut down! CLOSED FOR BID'NESS! So I'm going to try and get some protein soup down for dinner. It seems that hot beverages are ok for me.
I'm not sure if should spin tonight or not...I actually have the energy, so I think I will. I think if my band keeps this up tomorrow, I might have to sit it out. I don't want to get too depleted.
Anyway, day 1 - no problems!!

OH and yes INDEED - maintaining is definitely better than gaining so good job!! MSW!

My workout does not change when doing liquids only. Some people feel side effects from liquids onlu but fortunately its no issue for me.
As long as I keep the protein high and calories reasonable the body converts what it needs to carbs, burns fat, and preserves muscle mass. Day one is hardest. Stay strong!
