Accountability Mission: No Mercy and No Excuses

Getting where you want to be and moving forward.  Been where you hated being and not going back.  No matter the current status, monumentous effort is required.  Tell the whole truth and be accountable.  
Are you continuously adjusting so you can get and stay where you need to be?   

Tis the season but let's also celebrate our day to day lives.  From time to time we'll have to make major and minor adjustments to stay on program.  This is for life.  As life changes, our programs must be flexible.  Lets make it work for today's needs.

I did not want to post today because once again I am in the who wants to be a fat girl hall of shame.  Five days out of seven a total clusterfkcu. One day a planned indulgence. 

I reached out for a lifeline from another BAF'er.  Knew what I needed to do.  Got support and encouragement.  Then hid the key to my brain and fkcu'd up a day that was perfect til late night.  Time to change the rules.

Where I eat has become part of the problem.  All meals need to be seated in the dining room or kitchen.  Feeding frenzies occur outside of the traditional meal zones; therefore, feedings will occur only in the traditional meal zones. 

As an early pre op I developed habits that helped me get nutrition down but which are now destructive.  Time to change with my needs to stay on program.  Most of all, I will not loose (or deliberately hide) the key to my brain and set myself up for weight gain and long term failure. 

The over night feeding frenzy has started today on a downward trend but it does not have to stay this way.  Making adjustments, repairing the day.  I will get my act together.

No vits (still out, finished the very last yesterday), no exercise.  Still housebound with the flu and every breath feels like I'm inhaling sand.  Lack of exercise increases my appetite.  Then add boredom and insomnia.  Then add eating at the computer, or television, or laying on the sofa...  Well you get the picture.

I am so sick and tired of food being on my dang mind all day and night. Emotions and boredom are my downfalls. I am stuck in the house most days. I just want to eat eat eat. I need an activity to occupy my time. I try to spend time on the computer, but that becomes boring too. Television would be good if my kids would let me watch my own shows, but being in the bed all day is not good either. I am going to plan to clean clean and more clean. I decided to exercise 4x a week. 60 minute cardio and 15 min weights. I hope you get better soon. Lemon and honey boil? usually helps me feel better after a couple days.

I won't do the calories in honey, lol; but, I'm downing the warm beverages all day.  I need to switch to caffine because I am bloated from being over my water threshold and all out of diuretics. 

My house needs a good cleaning.  I could keep you busy for a week, lol.  Boredom is the enemy.  I'm also home during the day, mostly alone. 

Exercise, short intervals like 20 min as kids are occupied.  Three times a day is an extra hour for the day rather than spending that hour in bed.   Make it something easy like running in place alternating with jumping jacks to music.  Check out podrunner http://www.djsteveboy.com/mixes.html for workout music at various beats per minute until you find the right tempo.  Not my kind of music for listening but perfect for exercising. 

Its harder with kids because you have to keep them occupied.  You can get them moving in a "home gym class".  I remember copying my mom as she exercised when I was little.  (Damn, 45 years ago maybe!)  Start doing your thing and they may start moving with you and learning good habits for life.
