Based on my last post re: my husband and I not having intimacy I just want to say to all
Thanks for the encouraging, words, and prayers...this is hard but God has brought me through so much, I rest in Him assured that this will not be the end of Charlene! My husband is a good man and God is not finished with him yet, counseling is a good place along with being on his knees in prayer and he's been reading his word more lately, but at the end of the day we are truly best friends Im working on me, he has to work on him, and together we can pray for one another, we acknowledge that God put us together and although Im the one suffering right now, I dont feel the pain I felt initially because I left it all at the foot of Jesus and by his grace im not picking it back up. When I look at life and the bigger scheme of things, I have to trust God, trust my husband and believe that all things work together for the good of those who love the Lord and Im doing my best to learn to love me first.
I feel sadness yes, but not despair and there is hope.

Life is but a dream....make your dreams come true.

Charlene,

I read your previous post and would like to ask if you husband on Blood pressure medicine?  I think you said he had weight problems also.  If he is on blood pressure medication, he would need a lot of stimulation to perform.  Men are physical and visionual when it come to sex.  That's why ***** is a billion dollar a year industry.  And if he is taking blood pressure medicine, it make getting an erection very hard for a man.  He might think it's you that causing the problem because he still have the urge to have sex but unable to get an erection.

I am not sure if your husband is on any kind of medication but if he is, talk with your doctor.  Many men have ED and will not admit it.  They put it on everyone and everything around them because this can't be happening to them.  But it's a real issue and can be fixed with proper medications.
