Jared Fogle the Subway guy had WLS? R.I.P. Jared

Am I the only one that did not know that Jared had weight loss surgery? 
Jared S. Fogle, best known as the spokesman for Subway sandwich shop "The Subway Guy" Born December 1st, 1977 – Died yesterday at 4:43pm EST.

The autopsy has not been performed, early medical reports indicate that he has died due to abnormal abdominal adhesions resulting from his 1998 gastric bypass surgery. It’s a pretty common surgery complication, but it’s rare that it’s fatal, even as it slowly progresses. Then again Jared was a rare guy. He may have just gotten sicker and sicker in his last couple years, but it’s because of us that he hung on as long as he did. He did it because he knew we needed him.

Since this is still brand new (I was up all night putting it together) please come back and check with this site often because it’s only going to get better. I’ll fix the spelling problems and get more and more of your guys’ stuff up as quick as I can. Sorry the site is so amateur it’s a template I bought and I’m not an internet guy so it’s the best I can do. I probably won’t go back to wor****il day after tomorrow so I have some time to get it looking better, but I need your help with it so I’ll talk to you soon!

Obviously all the commercials from the last few years were all filmed at the same time.

Didn't know about his gastric bypass but neither did I care.  Lets face it, not many folks can live on just sandwhiches.  Post wls, his 3 sandwhich a day diet makes more sense.  Cool, he's been dead on and off since 2008 and I never noticed.    http://jaredremembered.com/jared-fogel-obituary/

PC this is a rumor that has been going around for a few weeks.    Gared ate sandwhiches and is still alive.

Okay I just saw Shay's facebook post and looked this up on snoops and came back to retract this post.  Sorry folks today is the first time I heard this and there are several articles on the internet.  So I guess it is safe to assume that none of the article I posted is true!  OMG why would someone start a rumor like that.....people can be so ugly.

Its new to me too.  I did a metasearch for obits and edited my reply with the link.  Whole website devoted ton his death.  Smdh. 

I thought that Jared was on the Biggest Loser back in April.  Of course the show is filmed about 6 months ahead he is supposed to be training to run a marathon with a Biggest Loser contestant, Shay,  from 2 seasons ago.
