 so, i got in my 3 miles this morning.  i truly doubt I'll be doing anything else today.

 Tay - what was you total time on your run?

I am only doing test running today - I got my hydration belt delivered yesterday and I need to wear it and the new shorts I have to get a feel for my running pace and posture before Sunday.  It's last minute, but I can still make adjustments if I need to.  

that's all for me!

hey Mack!  this week, my best time on the treadmill was 48 minutes for about 3.5 miles.  that included a 5 minute warm-up and 5 minute cool down.  so, my total run time would be 38 minutes (for 3 miles).  i would be content with a 35 minute 5k...although 30 sounds even better!!! 

oh, i ordered some new running shoes, so maybe i'll be able to get a better time.  i'll let you know!

btw, you are the most prepared mofo for a race i've ever seen before in my life!  do your thang girlie.  good luck on Sunday!

HAHAHHAHAA!!!  My best friend that I run with says the same about me - she was just running like Forrest wit no water and chit - I got her to get new shoes and changed her nutrition. LOL

dayum skippy I am prepared! I am the type to study chit and design a program.  I will have two bottles with a supplement designed to help endurance mixed with powerade zero. One of the biggest challenges for post WLS athletes is nutrition and hydration. I have found that I have to double up to keep enough going in my body to sustain me.

and yes - I have a prepared play list designed with the timing set so that I know by what song what mile I should be at for the pace I am looking to finish.

...... yes, I know   TOTAL NERD!  I can't help it! when i do something, I DO the dayum thang! 

What shoes are you getting? (yea, I've studied those two - I get excited about new Sauconys coming out like ninjas love Jordans.......LOL!)

Still working Insanity.  I have to double today because I needed to skip a few days.  This weekend will suck because I'll be playing catch up.  Finishing on schedule is my mission.
