What works for me?
I allowed my body to pick my goal weight. It’s happy at 150.
Most of my meals are pouch-friendly.
I allow myself treats in reasonable portions; no food is forbidden.
I keep healthy foods in my fridge, pantry and freezer to make it convenient.
I bring breakfast and lunch to work every day.
My meals are often nontraditional – this morning I ate soup for breakfast and had dried prunes for dessert.
I weigh nearly every morning and record my weight on an Excel chart every week.
I update my Health Tracker monthly so I am also accountable to my OH friends.
I allow myself 5 pounds of “wiggle room" above goal as an absolute upper limit.
I take my supplements.
I drink plenty of water and other no/low cal beverages.
I abstain from alcohol.
I’ve read and posted on OH nearly every week since I joined in 2004.
