Pre op how bad was the hair loss?
So much for my theory...it really does seem to vary.

I didnt loose any hair pre op but lost a lot of it 3 months post op. I wasn't getting enough protein. Then when I increased my protein, the hair started growing back at around 6 mos post op. I still don't have all of my hair back but new hairs are coming in all the time. I'm still hopeful.
Hair loss varies from person to person.

I have long, fine, curly hair. I use to have plenty of it. Now I have no perm and you can see straight through to my scalp in the entire crown of my head (hairline to whirl- I don't know how thin the back is). I take Biotin 2x per day and 60 g of protien (supplements) plus the protien in my foods. I also massage my scalp regularly and use good products in my hair.
Bought a 1/2 wig and I can't wear it because you can see straight through my hair. Bought a lace front a few months ago but it feels strange. Love the style. It is the same cut, length and look I wear/wore my hair but I'm not use to the fakey-fakey. Takes some getting use to.
I feel sad about it.
