I was sick yesterday.    No not really. 
I know what your saying, how many years have you heard or read me saying it.   I am just discouraged right now.  I wish I could still run cause I would run this feeling out of my head.

That scale is a dirty ***** who doesn't deserve to see the light of day.

In the hospital today so there will be no work out. Month 2 day 2 and I'm 2 days behind. Hopefully I can catch up over the week. The scale thing really burns me fat or not so fat so I totally get MsLee's pov. I've worked out all my life and stayed fat even as my thin friends did not exercise. Now that I'm less fat again its the same old **** I worked out at 285 lbs. Pre op I was already keeping my HR in the cardiac training zone for 70min non stop. I appreciate a low resting HR, strong lungs etc. BUT Damnit I want my weight to reflect all this hard work. You'd think after wls the benefits of working out would finally show on the scale too. I'm as pissed as Lee today. I'm six pounds up from when I took my half way through insanity pic this weekend. Who knows what I'll weigh by Mon?

Thank You Marcia for knowing where I am coming from.  The frustration level just gets so high some times I want to scream and rip my fat off.

Yeah the healthier body is nice no doubt but like you said you want that **** to also reflect on the outside.   Who the **** sees your insides.  LOL. 

Sorry about the 6 pounds,  I know your weight is as much of a roller coaster as mine and it sucks, but you know dam well i'm not quitting.  Never have never will.

Quitting is NEVER an option. Imagine where we would be without regular hard workouts? Keep venting girl, it preserves our sanity. Besides, you know friends and family don't want to hear it so this is the place.

P90X-Day 35: Kenpo X:

I love Kenpo so I killed it today. Burned 955 Calories and that tells me that my heart is getting stronger because when I first started doing it, I used to burn like 1200 calories because my heart was beating so hard and fast. Still loving the X...Whoo Hooo! Feeling real good right now... Next up, RECOVERY DRINK!!!

The average burn for Kenpo and most  X workouts is between 600 - 800 calories.   Wondering how you are burning so much.   

You must be X-tra Ordinary or have a very inaccurate monitor.

You have to remember, I am extra heavy so of course my heart is beating very hard and fast while I am exercising. So of course I am going to burn more than the average. But when I first started doing Kenpo, I used to burn like 1200 calories. My HRM is accurate, no doubt about that. But now I am burning less because my heart is not working as hard to keep up with the stress of the exercise.

Everyone is different Lee. Just curious to know where you got that average from?

If you are burning that many calories then you should be thin in no time flat.   Me, I could burn twice that much and hold fast.

I have a P90X group that I have been part of from day one, some fat, some thin, some muscular, some scrawny.  None of them burn the amount of calories you are burning.   The biggest girl I think is close to 300 pounds, Why the hell she would be doing P90X and not trying to burn that fat off first is beyond me, but girl is on it,  Holding strong.

Are you a part of Dailymile?  A ton of people doing Insanity and P90X are on there.  That is where my group is at.

I commend the lady that is 300 pounds and doing P90X. Everything isn't for everybody.  I am so glad I did P90X and not Insanity first because I would have probably given up by now. Insanity has entirely too much jumping for someone that is very obese. But check this out. I think she had wonderful results. No, I am not a part of Dailymile. I will check it out though.

I saw this video a long time ago.  I think she should be doing a more cardio based program . 

I would want to burn more fat off my body before I started an intense muscle building, you get way better results.
