Sunday dinner - ummmm
OMG!!!! 13.1 miles is officially the longest distance I EVER EVER EVER intend to run!!!!! I hallucinated and saw Michael Jackson, James Brown and Ike Turner doing a live performance in the street median.........
I did good preparing myself - I was dehydrated yesterday so I spent all day drinking in fluids and got 1 liter of water in before the race. I kept a pretty good pace until the hills started...... then my neck hurt, then my ankles started hollerin at me. When I finished, all I wanted to do was cuss a mofo out!!!!
After the half marathon in San Antonio next month - I will officially become a 10K girl - I'm not running these long ass distances no mo!!!!!!!
....... off to rehab my legs in the tub now.... oh yea - what YOU cookin????? LOL

I'm making chili when I get outta work today. And in prep for the week some mixed veggies with italian seasonings and pork chops.
They didn't have a clock posted for view, so I honestly don't know my time - but I do know it's less than 3hrs, 38min cause that's how long my playlist I made for the race was, and I didn't get to the end of it.
As for my body being in shock - umm - no. My fat ass is still rebelling against the will in my head! I'm still 214. 4 days a week in the gym w/free weights and running - long runs on the weekend. It's the training schedule I found online - so I'm not just crazy making something up.
However - I am debating whether or not to do a quick 5 or 10K next weekend - I may just stay off the racing 'grid' and do a long run in the park..... we will see!!!

I found the program online after a friend of mine sort of berated me for overworking myself - so I found the program to PROVE I am not crazy!!! LOL.
I will slow down a bit after this half marathon in November - I will 'settle' into regular running as a habit, not just something I'm geared up for.
Now - the shyt *I* made up was what got my shoulder ****** up - and my chiro and ortho surgeon have both read me the riot act for that! So - after a shot in the shoulder (OUCH) and meds for a month, I should be fine - but I have been relegated to limited upper body work - 10lbs or less...... WTFFFFFFF?????

Tonite for dinner is fried whiting, potatoe salad, and cabbage. I'm off from work for teh next 3 weeks so I will be cooking meals throughout teh week instead of two big ole meals for half the week. I can't stand reheated fried foods so only cookin enough fish for just tonite.
I think this week will be spaghetti, I'm looking through recipes for a new chicken breast dish, I'm gonna try this acorn squash the Neely's made to go with the chicken, and some shrimp hoagies one night
