As for 60 yr old homie - I'm wondering why he isn't trying to be a consultant or contractor.
Because he hasn't adjusted his thinking in my opinion. He wants to come in, grab his cup of coffee and stroll the halls making small tal****il noon. After the 2 hour power lunch, he wants to stroll back to his desk, read emails, join more meetings and then leave the office. NOBODY is going to hire you do that anymore at age 60, Bruh. It's a wrap, Yo.
Companies will jump on that because they aren't bound to the insurance and other issues with perm employees - he wouldn't have coverages or other benefits - but he'd get a check - I didn't see anything in the program about that. Plus - and ummm - yea - yall gone hate me for this BUT - a lil less praying and meditating in the morning and more working around things might help a lil bit.... yeah yeah - I know we don't know the whole story - and I know we shouldn't judge.....whatever.

The Jeffries: How in the hell does someone NOT pay their mortgage for 26 months and still have their house and then expect someone to help them out of that bind? They refinanced two times, FOR WHAT??? They didn't say why, they just said they refinanced twice.

Misinformed is right. However, the whole approach was just dumb from the door. Why didn't he try to get into a Jr. college, while working at a Friendly's or a Friday's. Kean is a private institution, which means you pay more for your education. Hello! Besides his grades weren't even all that to begin with. And why was the mama in Florida knowing that her lights were about to be cut off?
He is going to school for acting. First, he originally DID NOT get accepted into Kean (which is one of the easiest universities to get accepted to in NJ).

You see how they called him, on camera, to personally tell him that he had gotten in. Nah, homey. Kean was worried about the backlash nationally if they had turned him down especially on TV too. The president of the college was probably like, "What? CNN?! Not BET? Wait a minute now... White people watch CNN. We must put a positive spin on this thing immediately..."
That tells me he was/is not ready for a university. He should have gone to a community college (we do have some very good ones here in NJ) to get his grades in order and then moved on to a four year school. Damn shame!!! The pastor pulled strings for him to get into Kean because he called the president of the school. SMH!!! Lets see how long he goes to Kean without dropping out.

i agree with Mack, i didn't feel sorry one bit for those people who were living well abover their means just because SHE (yeah i blame wifey) wanted to live the high life. smh. when i bought my home at age 26, the banks were saying what amount "they" thought i could afford. sheeeeeiiiiit only i knew my spending habits and what i could truly handle. with that, i chose a home that i was comfortable with, something i could grow with and most importantly, something *I* could afford without ANY problems.
anywho, it was a good show and that pastor on there reminds me of my pastor. he has totally re-done the housing area around our church. they are truly the new pastors of our era!
