OT: Shoppers!!!!! Help me out please
So far - I got the shoes. Yep - the shoes! K-Swiss - tight whites - you KNOW how we used to do it!!! LOL now I need ideas and pieces to put together to rock em right!!!! I was the fat kid in school, so I never got to be the jazzy B-girl back in the day and yes - my ole azz is going to relive that ish for one night at this dayum concert........ so help me out people!!!!!!

I'm from surburban North Jersey (just outside Manhattan, NY). Like many people from the area, I always wore black.
Colored jeans (Flavored Lee's) with a name belt and permanent sewn in creases were in style then. Tight designer jeans were also big. I wore skin fit Calvin Klein's at the time. The skinny jeans of today would work well with WigWam cheerleader slouch socks. An off the shoulder oversize top that is cut up (horizontal slashes) with a beater underneath was also in style.
Accessories- Big Bamboo earrings, name rings, 2-4 finger rings, name plate necklaces, rope chains - everything in yellow gold and diamonds. You can get that stuff at a dime a dozen in the Asian shop where you buy hair and pony tails. Also, asemetric hair cut with color.
That's the way we carried it at the NY teen hangouts.
Please take pictures. After the initial embarrassment, it is so fun going back and remembering the crap we use to think was "the def".. (I can't believe I use to say that!) LOL!!!!!

I got the door knocker earrings already picked out!!!! I forgot bout them two finger rings - DEFINITITELY need to cop that!
I am going to rock the skin tight jeans - but cannot find a shirt for the LIFE of me!!!!
but - makeup - RED lipstick is a must and I will have a red cherry blowpop! hahahahahhahaha

As far as makeup went- Girl, I wore a deep Fuchsia (Not the matte or gloss finish, but the irredescent) and blue eyeliner was a must! LOL!! I almost feel like going to my mom's house and scanning some pics in.
..I really need to calm down. I'm having way too much fun with this. ..
remember Fresh Prince 'Summertime'? Honkin at the honey in front of you with the light eyes??? That's what I am goin for!!! LMAOOOOOOOthanks for the stores - Imma check them out!
