Seeking an exercise DVD recommendation

Hello, Family!

I'm looking to add to my exercise mix with something dance-like, and I'm interested in knowing what to buy.

Currently, I do a mix of outside activities: powerwalking, bicycling, and hiking on weekends.  My inside mix is yoga & pilates DVDs, and free weights.

I have a bad left knee, so running, hi-impact jumping, etc. are not an option, unless the instruction includes how to modify for it.

I've seen talk of Zumba, P90, Insanity, and such, but I'm concerned about buying one I that would be too much for my knee.

What say you?

Thanks in advance.

Hey PomMom,

I started P90X almost a month ago and I love it. Its a variety of exercises and is based on muscle confusion so you can build muscle, burn fat and tone up your body. And I guarantee you will not get bored at all.

I love the P90X because it has all the modification you will need with a bad knee. My husband has something torn in his foot and he does P90X also. I am so glad I found the X because it has truly changed my life.

If you want more information about it, you can click on the link in my tag-line and you can view all the workout DVDs by Beachbody and you can buy them right from my site.  If you have any questions, you can contact me by phone. My number is on the site.

Many blessing on your continued journey and I hope you find something that will work for you.

In my opinion Beachbody has THE very best weight loss products around.  Would you like to join me on my P90X Journey? Please click the link below to Join My Team or to learn more about the products:

Shimmy is a series on fit tv.  Its belly dancing and it really does get your heart rate up.  Same source is Namaste Yoga.  I like this best of all the yoga programs I've tried.  Both are available in sets for each season of the show for about $40-$50.

Fit TV does have some good workouts. I do their stretching workouts when I have a lot of back pains.

I have quite a few of The Firm tapes and they are very good.  I love 500 calorie burn it includes weight training and Punch jump and jab. They also have a person on there that modifies when they jump up and down and stuff.  I have funky knees myself and have to modify sometimes to not over exert them. The Firm also have plenty of dance videos also in their library and you can find them in a lot of stores as well.
