Black Plastics!

Hi All!   I am new here...hd RNY 10-08 and  I am ready to start having plastics....I have lived in ATL for about 5 years from Illinois...Anyone know of a good surgeon for black skin?   thank GOD I do not scar bad or form keloids.....I have had surgery a few times including the RNY......I can travel to Illinois to any states around GA...any input will be greatly appreciated and pics too!  I have met with two surgeons here in ATL to no avail...Dr. Frederick Work was terrible.   He had me in his office for over 3 hours, take photos by his intern and never saw me face to face...He was never there...He examined me via satellite TV...If I had known that he was not there I would have been left....next doc was Dr. T. Hester of Paces Ferry.   He said I needed a full TT with anchor incision at around $15k..what the f#@%?   I have seen worst cases than mine and they only had a bikini incision...He did have his own state of the art operating suites and recovery suites at about a grand a night.... any suggestions?...thanks

I work withh a good plastics guy at my surgery center. I know he has done a bit of work on WLS patients, but now that I think of it I only recall a handful of Black pts. Probably cuz he works in the city and Arlington Heights and I only work in AH (safe to say our pt population is lily white.)

If I ever get to a weight I'm comfortable with I'd let him work on me. Feel free to google him-Dr Otto Placik.

@michellej....thanks....yea I was born and raised in Illinois...I am from South suburbs.....Orland Park, Olympia Fields...I use to work in Arlington Heights and OakBrook so ATL is like night and day literally.....I have been here since '06...amazing how we living down here...I could never have had the blessings I have here in Illinois....White folk still rocking it out there I know....lol
