I've Been A Party Animal !!!! ( A Little Long)

I know y'all don't believe me, frankly I've been looking in the mirror trying to find out who is this woman myself. I've never been a party animal. When I was young, I went to the club but I held the purses because my friends were the desirable ones and I usually ended up with the ugly short guys. I wasn't fat then except in my mind and had a healthy dose of low self esteem.

I realized last weekend when I was at my 25th yr class reunion that no one noticed much difference in me because when I graduated, I was 6'3 and about 185.Now I'm 6'3 and fluctuate between 175 and 181. That was a BIG eye opener for me because I always thought I was HUGE in high school because I had to wear men's jeans and pants for the 36" inseam.

I danced a few songs and even had a little rhythm but my hubby took a picture and his exact words to me were, " bless your heart, you were having fun but now I have a picture of the rhythm-less nation".

This past weekend, I did my college homecoming. I could only do the AKA breakfas****CH the stroll off and a min-step show on the yard and tailgating. I saw some of my line sisters that I haven't seen in 21 yrs. I came home took a shower and slept for 15 hrs straight.

This party animal didn't go to the parties or the big step show but I did more the past 2 weekends than I've done in years.

I will not do another function until my hubby's Christmas party IF I'm still speaking to him. I was showing him some pictures and I said that I had gained so much weight (4 lbs actually) and he said,  " you can't really see it that much in these pictures".   I know I  walked into that, kinda like  does these pants make me look fat? but I thought every man knew how to answer  that, especially a man that has been married for 21 yrs. and knows his wife weighs daily and is neurotic about her weight !!!!!   lol   Party animal out .

So glad you went and had a good time.  We may only be able to do but so much but we can learn to manage our energy.  Thankfully, later we can sleep it off.

I was so happy to talk to you. It was good to talk to someone who understands. Now I need your number again because my phone broke down and they ordered me a new one and the numbers couldn't be saved.

Keep on dancing girl every chance you get.  I'm as spastic as they come but I got the nerve to get out there even all by myself and I have a blast.  Have no rythm, have no shame.  LOL 

sounds like you had a  wonderful time gettin your party on..........................and to think after 25 years no one saw much difference............................i'd love to look like i did 25 years ago!  Diva in the house--Good you were able to shut down when you got home and sleep for 15 hrs.

I think I look old with gray hair but even the popular little cheerleader told me that I needed to be on America's Next Top Model.   I never heard that from those girls in school, they just cheered for me to score points  in basketball. lol

I think it's wonderful that you are rediscovering yourself...um but leave the dancing to the rest of us. LOL

ShayZ no worries, all future dancing will be done at home except for the Christmas party and I usually only do the electric slide.   Please don't revoke my sista card.

You bet not be proclaiming to be a party animal and you stepping in the club without doing a little something something with those beautiful looks....LOL
