Warning Advice time.

You are taxing you knees way to much running long distances on pavement so close together.

When I started running I did a lot of reading about running schedules and it is extremely important to give your body down time.   I completely understand wanting to run cause I was bit by the bug too.

Talk to some marathoners or join some running boards so that you can learn from their expertise and avoid injury.

trust me - I hear ya!

That schedule is the suggestion, actually.  I also have talked to and still see my chiropractor to keep an eye on things.  I actually have not had any issues at all with my knees or hips after my initial start into running, I made some adjustments and handle the races quite well - the upgraded shoes helped too - I had a professional evalulation of my stance and gait to find the right and proper shoe for me.

As for the down time - ROGER THAT! lol - my training shedule is 4/3 - 4 days training, 3 days rest.  On my training days, I am doing weight work and 2-2.5mile runs on the treadmill - the long runs are on the weekends - one day per week.

Thanks for looking out for me!!! I jacked my shoulder up not being smart - no way do I want to jack my knees up

Ok good,  I just want to make sure you don't get out there and just start running like I did.

You are doing all the right things to be safe and I forget that your like 10 years younger than me so your body can take a lot more.   But your doing it the right way.

RUN GIRL,  **** RUN FOR ME CAUSE I CAN'T RUN NO MORE.

I gotcha back, girlfriend! LOL - I am notorious for studying the HEYL outta anything I get into - that's why my homie got me into this - cause SHE is the lazy, uninformed one...... I corrected her shoes, training schedule and nutrition within the first two weeks - that heffa finishes a consistent 5 min ahead of me no matter what..... STILL.

~hmmph~ lol
