I know I am not the only one but I am the bravest one to post this.  I totally have no clue.  Please help a sistah out.





I wear a HR monitor while exercising but dont know what my heart rate should be in order to get the maximum burn. Where is my zone?

How to count calorie deficits.  Dont know how to do that, please tell me how?

What fruits and veggies are carbs?

How the hell do you count carbs?  What should be the max carbs you should eat per day?

How many calories should you be burning per day?

Splenda???  Is blenda considered carbs or sugar?

How many calories are in fruits and veggies?

Deficit is calories burned in excess of calories eaten.  Every 3500 extra calories burned equals a pound of fat loss in theory. 

Surplus is calories calories eaten in excess of calories burned.  Every 3500 extra calories eaten equals a pound of fat gain in theory. 

Search calorie counters and use one of the free sites for tracking.  If you input your food and exercise, it calculates your deficit/ surplus for you.  Check out health tracker on OH for explanations.  Also caloriesperhour.com, fatsecret.com (that's what I use), sparkpeople.com and a million more. 

I outlined some of this for someone on the b/l awhile back.  I'll look for it and send it too you.

I honestly don't know the stuff right off the top of my head Treena, but I go back to old posts.

That was really helpful.  I know you said the reading was not enough, but this particulasr link that I put up is pretty simple and not as long and involved as some of his were.

I wonder how he is doing?  Whether he still follows this.?

For the most part I do follow it.....just not as strict as I should be because I always have nausea issues.

I hope all is well with you.  I can only provide a response to two of your questions.

What fruits and veggies are carbs?
www.atkins.com has the carb count for just about all fruit and veggies. 

How the hell do you count carbs?  What should be the max carbs you should eat per day?
If you are carb sensitive like I am, you will have to really limit your carbs.  The website mentioned above should answer both of these questions.
