TALK ME OFF THE LEDGE
How do you control the fear of eating more? I am about to jump off the deep end. Now I know anyone in my size range gets no sympathy, but it is still making me crazy.
Last week I started a new approa*****alorie and carb cycling (similar to wagon plan). I'm attempting to "trick" my metabolism into ramping up but the increase in calories and carbs has me nevous. My calorie intake has increased to average my desired maintenance range. To do this I had to increase my calories and reduce my daily deficit. In theory, it should slowly bring e to my desired weight.
I'm attempting to make it through this two week period without the scale. Since my sudden spurt of weight gain I can't get back to my low weight and its been over 60 days. I'm bouncing between 5lbs and 12lbs over; back and forth, back and forth.
How do you restart your metabolism? How do you push to loose those final pounds?

LV'N MY RNY. WORKING FOR ME BECAUSE I WORK FOR IT.
I control my fear by never getting hungry. I eat every 2-3 hours and when I sit down for breakfast, lunch or dinner I don't overeat because I'm not starving. Some of my snacks are apples, cottage cheese with peaches, nuts, cheese sticks and my fave....Slim Jims.
This is what worked for me when I stalled/wanted to lose more. My weight loss journey is not typical and neither are my habits.
1. I high carbed it for 2-3 days. Didn't exercise.
2. Went back to 60-80g of protein and no more than 50 carbs. Added exercise. Promised myself that I would get in at least 100oz H2O/day.
I'm trying for the first time to do the high carb days but I still have to exercise. In my mind carbs = weight gain. I'm far more comfortable low carbing.
