A nasty habit I have to break.
Well it has been a shaky 2 weeks for me. I have a problem with rewarding myself with food when I lose weight and it did not help that TOM was came right after I lost 8 pounds. So I have gained 6 pounds over the last 2 weeks. (I did not weigh in last week so it could have been more)
My goal is to lose 1 to 3 more pounds by next Monday for my September total.
If not I am good with the knowledge that I have not gained for the month and will have a loss for Sept which is consistent. I am not losing what I would like to each month but I am losing something each month.
I am not going to gain anymore weight this month.

The food rewards are tough to break away from. Especially when you know you've burned up the calories in your work out. Its easy to tell yourself you can afford it.
I have a pay it forward system. If I want an un planned treat I have to burn the calories first. Then I can have it after the work out when my metabolism is high. If I have an unplanned treat without paying the calories forward I have to burn off double.

That's why I just stay off the scale.period....now when I get to maintenece, I will weigh regularly, but for me if I'd lost weight I'd "celebrate" with a bit of this and a bit of that....for me when I stay off the scale and focus on sticking to my food plan and track every calorie online daily...it helps me alot. Even on a binge day I force myself to log it in so I can really see the damage and face up to it.

No more food rewards for me. When I lose the first thing I reward myself with a new workout outfit or some new scented candles or something that doesnt cost much but I enjoy having. I've learned that its just not worth it and it also lets me know that food isnt a reward its a hindrance for my progress. I have changed my mindset.
