Sunday dinner and NuWave feedback

 Hey fam!!! Yes - my new toy got here Friday and I was like a lil kid at a b-day party, clapping my hands and errythang - lol. 

I will do a full on picture slideshow when I cook a chicken this week - I really haven't tried it out that much, I cooked bacon yesterday and two stuffed chicken breasts I got from a place I go to.  The bacon came out perfect - and fast just like on the infomercial.  The chicken breasts were cooked perfectly - it was the seasoning that sucked - I hadn't had the pre-seasoned stuff from that place before.....needless to say, I won't be repeating THAT mistake.......

I have two filet mignon steaks I bought from Omaha steaks marinating - but I will be going to a play and then to dinner today, so I will cook them tomorrow and make a greek salad.  I will also buy a whole chicken today and I will cook that Tues night.

It seems to be living up to the hype so far - I will say this - the cleanup is a little 'involved' - meaning there are about three to four parts you have to clean/wipedown.  And it's bigger in person than my perception from watching it on TV.  The steaks tomorrow night will tell the tale!!! 

Ok - so what are you guys cooking today???

Wow. I'm suprised. An ifomercial item that actually works as advertised. How long did it take to cook the chicken you made the other day? Quick and good tasting? I might be sold.

 You mean the baked chicken last week in my regular oven?  about 80min.  The chicken breasts I did yesterday in the NuWave - 20min.  

I almost hate that I'm going to this play and then to dinner cause I wanna try out the nuwave - but **** it - my mom is treating at Land and Cattle steakhouse - there's a peppercorn ribeye with burgandy sauce waiting on me.....and it's FREE!!!! LMAOOOOO

Oooweee!  You've already got me online looking for a NuWave fro myself. Besides not liking to cook for one, my 2nd biggest issue is what I take out to defrost in the am might not be what I want when I get home from work, if I don't have to bother defrosting, this might work well for me....

 Well  stay tuned.  I have a frozen already marinated tri tip roast in the freezer that I will most likely do mid week!  I want to see how it does from frozen too - that will seal the deal for me.

Glad you like your NuWave so far.  Okay so today is asian stir-fry with rice noodles and General Tso's chicken also wanted to make some salmon croquettes for next week but my laziness is winning  today and it may just be the stir-fry.    No plans whatsover not even my weekly trip to Walmart or Kroger's I'm in and I mean in today.  Love day's like this.

I've got pork chops and chicken legs to cook and freeze.  I'll do each two ways. 

The nuwave sounds good except for the wipe down clean up.  I'm still hoping you'll do a pizza.

Did you go see The Waiting Room at Ensemble today? I thought I saw someone who looked like a profile pic that you had up. It was during intermission that I 1st noticed then as everyone was entering the theater I thought it was you. The lady I thought was you was with a young girl and another lady in a purple jacket. I always say its a small world but dang.

I found the play to be very, very good. The play was funny and the acting was good. I love Ensembles small & intimate setting. I have a season subscription.I usually attend the Sunday matinee. If I see you at a future performance I will introduce myself.

the young girl was my daughter - the purple jacket lady was my mama!!!!!!!  MAN - I wish you had said something!!!! 

I loved the play - it was HILARIOUS!!!!! We saw 3 guys named Mo before this one - loved that one too!!!! 

We MUST introduce ourselves next time.....MUST!!!!! 

I considered approaching you but was at a loss for words. I am typically not ever shy or at a loss for words but didn’t know how to approach you.

I did consider the following:

" Are you that Crazy chick from obesity help" didn’t seem appropriate as I didn’t want to offend you by using the word obesity.

"Are you Trina" which is the only other name I have heard you go by on the forum and not certain if that is your name

"Are you on the OH forum" if it wasn’t you, I didn’t want to explain what OH stands for.

I didn’t really want to mention the forum in front of the lady with you in case it was you and you said something that you didn’t want the person reading.

I will be at the OH conference here in Houston, (both Friday & Saturday) and in case you go, I will be at the play Cinderella on 12/5/2010 @ The Ensemble Theatre.

If I see you again, I will surely introduce myself. I can’t be missed as I am a 6'3" 240lbs female walking around thinking I am cute. LOL
