I DID IT...RIDE OF A LIFETIME
I just finished the Tour Davita..It is a three day 240mile bike ride across varies cities. This year it was Seattle, Washingon. I completed 56 miles day one through cold rain on and off, 43miles Day 2 with rain all day, 50miles day three with great weather.
Tour Davita is a ride to raise awareness for Kidney Disease. We raised $690,000. The wonderful thing this year one of our Florida Dialysis patients Rode every single mile of this ride, he even had a dialysis treatment one morning then completed 77 miles after his treatment. I was so inspired by him.
We had a great time, I just had surgery in July and I was amazed at how my body moved, I rocked and kept up with the best...My RNY rocks.
Hypertension and Diabetes are the two leading causes of Kidney Failure so make sure you keep a check on your kidneys and make sure your family does the same. Thanks for reading.

It was rough but I completed it, my thighs, butt, and my va jay jay hurt like he'll. We also camped outside, which was truly a first for a sister, it was only 7 total African Americans out of 400 riders.
I think we were all shell shocked riding in the rain and cold weather of Seattle. The hills were painful but the state is lovely. We went through four different cities. I can't wait to post the pictures off my camera.
