 hey cookie!!!!!

Man - yesterday was a train wreck followed by a car wreck followed by a home invasion..... just CRIMINAL for me.

BUT - I am using these next couple of days to research and plan out my south beach plan for when my nuwave gets here.  I WILL be clearing out my fridge this weekend and making sure only the RIGHT choices are available to me.  I have 6 weeks until this half marathon - I would like to be able to complete it without medical assistance or intervention, and that will only happen if I get serious and focus.

I don't just have issues, I have subscriptions!  I'm saving on the newsstand price.......

Since checking back into carb rehab I am slowly detoxing.  Water is still an issue for me.  I have been staring at this bottle of water for the last two hours.  For the past few weeks (other than Sunday) the trick for me to get my water in is to start around 8:00 a.m. and have 8 ounces every hour and if not I have to make it up before the end of the day to get my 64 ounces in.  I do have trouble drinking water prior to lunch but I managed to do it the past few weeks without gagging too bad.

B: Coffee, bacon
L: Salad with salmon/cream cheese dip
D: Salad with catfish (fried or broiled IDK yet)

So far so good this week.  Protein is up there and I'm tracking carefully.  Menu planning in the morning again just like I used to helps me focus.

I have not weighed myself and its killing me.  Knowing how I get when the scale betrays me I'm holding off.  Not easy for a scale ***** but I keep trying on the tight clothes as an objective measure.  Yes we CAN do this.

i tried on my pair of 8's that i slid into easily this time last year.  well, i can get 'em on now and zip them, but i still don't feel comfortable.  still chasin' that 8...in the final lap now...lol

So Blessed!

It wasn't my fault.   I was possessed by hormones.

I had PMS munchies and devoured mass quantities of candy.  I didn't even dump behind it either.  For some reason I was craving tart flavors like Skittles, Starburst Fruit Chews and Smarties.  You ever eat so many Smarties that your tongue got raw?

I went up 5 pounds last week, but 2 1/2 of them are already back off.  I'm trying to eat like a sane person today.  Brought healthy food to work today - steak, creamed spinach and a fresh slice of tomato.
