Yeah each one had a tragic death, I was like what the hell it's not good enough to be just fat now you have to have lost a family member or fall to the ground in body breakdown.
That white guy with the pony tails and face hair that fell down and hit his face twice on the ground was scarey. I think they push them way to hard, i'm 800 pounds what the hell I look like jumping up running a mile or stepping 800 steps. I would have fell too.

I was flipping through channels and watched ten minutes last night and I was done.
I saw the part where the guy talked about his alcoholic father and not wanting his son to be embarrassed about his weight. My heart went out to him, thought maybe I'll watch this season...
NOT!!!!
Why did they make them compete for a spot by completing 500 steps? Talk about a heart attack waiting to happen. When I saw that the guy didn't make it *I* was crushed for him. I turned the channel.
Very, very cruel.

I watched it--I didn't mind them telling their stories.....but the rest was just over the top for me. I agree it's totally scary and unhealthy to make a person do a trapeze act in 5 minutes . just crazy!!! I was so done when they brought in the military--and plan to put the people through some kind of bootcamp. And then you have those two Jillian and that guy all up in their faces--it's just way too much. And I've never agreed with them taking their tops off during weigh in....all the money in the world couldn't be paid to me to do that in front of millions of people..........................not to mention we already have issues with folks who are totally insensitive to obesity..........these shows, in my opinion, just put so much pressure on fat folks everywhere----

It is exploitation at it's best. I'm not home enough to watch any TV show consistently- except for the morning news that I watch every morning when I'm getting dressed for work. (Does anyone know when the new show Nikita comes on? I just love those assassin type shows.) I usually accidentally catch a few minutes each season. I am horrified at the abuse Jillian inflicts- I want to punch that wench in her face. I am disgusted by her phony tears. We all know that the only tears she sheds is for the possibility of being canceled for the next season. The bra and bike shorts and man-***** weigh in with the fat hanging out is equally horrifying and exploitative. It's disgusting and the thought of people laughing at and mocking the contestants and shock-jock executives making money off of it makes me sick.
On the flip side, when I do catch an episode, I'm inspired and think I can accomplish all of my weight loss goals and then some.
