I want a weave. Only problem is I don't know what kind of hair to get. I have never really been one to wear a weave, but I want a new look. Any suggestions? Pics of diff. hairstyles?

check out youtube. There are all kinds of vids on there and tutorials about hair. I'm in the middle of transitioning to get rid of my relaxer and was shocked at the wealth of info out there.

Youtube is the place.  I lost a whole day looking at clips about locing my hair.  I can only imagine the volume out there for weaves.

I will never understand the cutting the hair and then getting a weave.

Go natural but look processed.  When the hair fallout starts some women find it easier to cut it off and stop straightening it.  Its not their style so in comes the weave.

See that I can understand, if your hair is falling out and you want to cut it and wear a weave until it grows in or whatever fine.    Buttttt......   I know at least 3 chicks who have cut off their long hair one week and have a long weave the next month or so.

I don't get that.

Maybe the cut didn't come out the way they expected. I cut my hair because it was falling out. But now it has begin to grow back and  I want to weave it so it can continue to grow in healthy and strong.

I hear ya.  I don't get it either but we aren't weavable types.  I can't imagine having something on my head 24/7.  I can't handle hats in winter, lol.  I've thought about it for a minute but it would need to be a nice & nappy weave.

You need to make a how to grow and maintain long natural hair video for youtube.  The ones out there don't have hair as pretty as yours.

I not sure about styles but if your gonna do weaves PLEASE get Remi. ANY TYPE of Remi. It will save you alot of time and money in the long run. Instead of worrying about tangling and knots and bunched up hair that appear around the back of the neck (ugh!) Even though regular weave will say tangle free... RUN!! And fast! You will be buying new hair in like 2-3 weeks! The most reasonable priced is Saga. How it somehow helped.
