Accountability Mission: No Mercy and No Excuses

Good FRIDAY BAF.  The weekend is nearly here.  Have you maximized your week?  There's always still time to make good things happen.  Tell the whole truth and be accountable.  Are you doing your very best to achieve your personal goals?

You know your instructions but have you done your own research?  If you are dissatified with your weightloss, have you researched other sensible options?  Are you learning what works best for your body?  We all have the instructions to get the most from our tools but the plan you were given may not be the best for you.  Protein, carbs, fats, proportionately how much of each and the time of day we have our meals can really make a difference for some folks.  Keep a journal.  Find your own sweet spot.  Know it may be a moving target.

The basics remain the same for us all.  Even no ops can benefit from the rules:
Protein first.
Weigh and measure your portions.
No drinking with meals and mind the no drinking periods before and after meals.
Take all of your supplements.
Exercise so you feel the burn.
Track your food and activity.

Mimic the succesful BAF folks.  Notice how they stay focused on the basics even years post op.  Let's do this!

...All are welcome, jump in at anytime.

I have lost four pounds for the week.  As of yesterday I weighed in at 190.0 but this morning 190.8.    I am discouraged  but I refuse to give up to see my magic number of 189.something.  I just knew I would see it today after drinking 80 ounces of water (it is starting to be less of a struggle) yesterday and keeping my carbs below 20 grams.  Is there such a thing as drinking too much water especially when I usually don't?  I guess I did not get enough green leafy veggies in and I need to take some natural colon clenz too.  I must make modifications and shooting for my number on Sunday now.

Hang in there luv you're doing well.  You want fat loss not **** loss, lol.  You can drink too much but you'll see signs of fluid retention and wonder why your outflow does not match your intake if that's the case.

You been at this long enough to know we cant time it to our liking.  Were that so I would not have wasted the month of August.  Keep at it.  The 180's are waiting for you.

I made it through Thorough Thursday with my deepest secrets in tact.   When I read MsWonkad's pm I was like , --what  --who me?  I Thought I would be like       or like      , but it really wasn't so bad.  Not compared to MsMichelle's and Ms#1MM's grilling.   (Damn I missed #1MackMama's!)   Please         no stragglers with more probing questions, lol.

I've been hit or miss all week but I awoke this morning with a headache and feeling like my 'normal' self again.  I rearely get headaches except when exposed to allergens or eating stuff I know I need to leave alone.

Its definetly the latter having had both dairy and tofu this week.  I will be sucking on the asthma pump and downing a few advils with a pepcid ac to tame the swelling and protect against ansaid induced ulcers.  Poor eating does more damage than just weight gain but I know this will also cost me about five pounds.  Tofu is an immediate weight penalty for me but its been over a year since I've had any so I'll give myself a pass on this one.

I'll finish my last bag of salad today, cook some food to freeze for next week, then try for liquids only over the weekend.  I need a good cleansing.  I'll make some protein non dairy "icecream" and some soft protein egg custard to help me through the urge to acctually eat without turning to solids.  Hopefully with those and some jello around I'll get throught the weekend ok.  Its last Mondays plan five days late but it is never to late to get your act together and back on track.

I just don't get it.  I've been sick all week so no way I could have eaten 2000+ cal a day - no budging on the scale for me.

I am working from home today in an attempt to 'rest up' for my 10K tomorrow morning - which I WILL be running either on Sudafed fumes or feeling better.  My body is in full mutiny against my wishes, well - I'm going to beat the crap out of it anyway.

I think there is a general scale conspiracy going on.  Like the machines have taken over and the scales are conspiring against us.

Forget the scale today.  Rest up, get your fluids, then run like Forrest Gump tomorrow.

ETA:  I know you will post the results tomorrow right?

Not on track at all! I am trying to get myself back on track. I need to make a plan and stick to it once again. I have not exercised in almost a month. I have been eating all the wrong foods and many times a day. I also stopped drinking water..plus I drink with meals. OMG> I have lost complete control over myself and my one year is coming up already. Time has passed. I am still aiming to reach my goal by Nov. I just need to buckle down and get it together. OH did I add the wine drinking for the past week. Need to stop that too. Just makes me feel happy when I drink a glass..lol. I would like to lose 20 to 25 more pounds, but I want to always exercise. My goal is to maintain good eating habits and fitness. Today is friday and I know going through the weekend without control is not the answer. I am not going to start Monday. I am going to start right now. I will start slow and by monday I hope to have some control. Today I plan to drink at least 80ozs of water. That is the first step in the right direction for me. I am going to work on foods over the weekend as well. Monday will be my first day back on the Treadmill. I wish I had never gotten off track because it is a struggle to get back on. Future note...just say no..lol.

I'm not sure what start slow means but you know the rules, just get back to sticking to them.  You're right about starting right now.  Putting it off only increases the damage potential.
