LOL - hey fam - yea, I said it!  It's a long weekend, so you have no reason NOT to cook today!

I'm still jones-in for smothered hamburger steak w/gravy and mushrooms, so I'm about to get my google on and find a recipe.  I think I will also do brussel sprouts, green beans and corn on the cob.  I have a broccoli and chicken casserole I never cooked and stuffed chicken breasts, so I will get those done and prepared so they are my tupperware dinners for this week.

I will also make tuna salad - that will be my take to work lunch during the week - I MIGHT make soup to be a side with that.

Ok - so what the HECK are you cooking, BAF?  Come on now, come with it!!!!

I'm cooking Corned Beef, cabbage, macaroni & cheese. Oh and some cornbread.
I'll be eating just the corned beef and cabbage. Hopefully I won't get any gas from the cabbage. I haven't had it since surgery so.....
I made some tomato-less meatloaf (think salsbury steak or similar) with mushroom gravy, green beans and mashed potatoes yesterday.

5' 7 3/4 I claim 5'8 SW/CW/GW 267/144/160 <---Dr's goal. My goal was 165lbs. Trying to build muscle. So, unsure what weight I'll be at  once I meet my fitness goals.

Good Morning Trina & BAF!

I know that I have not checked in a while but today I am fixing country style ribs, cabbage, mac n cheese (not for me), cornbread (not for me either), deviled eggs and green salad. Or course I am cooking to have left overs to last through tomorrow.  For the remainder of the week, I will have my salads, meats and low carb veggies and fruits.  I am on the losing side again after gaining so I must be a good girl and stay away from the carbs.

LOL you are too funny!!  We do have enough pictures already LOL!  Girl you know there will be an an announcement as soon as he proposes. This past June made a year and I am hoping that another year won't go by without his proposal.  We have been doing what a married couple would do or begin to do...we are in the process of purchasing land.  I promise my BAFamily will know right away after his proposal and will know the date as soon as it is planned!

Hey Fam..........I'm like Faith and "I'm fixin"a few things.  We are having a community get-to-know your neighbor get together.  So I'm grilling some burgers, and italian seasoned chicken breast.  I also made a tomato, cucumber, and onion pasta salad with light ceasar dressing.  I grilled all day yesterday for a birthday party for my girlfriend, and cooked a bunch of food.  So yes, dammit............I cooked this weekend!  Tomorrow I will not labor at all for Labor Day!

Happy Labor Day Fam!!

Haven't posted in a while, but here goes.  Unfortunately, me and the Mrs. are both working this Labor Day weekend, but I decided to cook this evening when I get home so that the teenagers don't start "experimenting" in Mrs. Cowboys's kitchen.

On the menu:
Sausage and Andouille Jambayala

For those that don't know:

4 cups of parboiled rice
1.5 pounds of smoked sausage(this is from a local smokehouse)
1 pound of andouile  (both are chopped small)
3 cups of diced onions, celery, garlic, mushrooms
4 cups of chicken stock
Cajun seasoning, kitchen bouquet, and minced garlic
1/3 cup of canola oil

The rest is secret, but it's good enough for tailgating
