Update on my post about the woman in the gym.......

The universe (and Big 'G') listens! I went to workout this morning - 5am as usual - the typical 5am crew was thinner than it usually is (holiday weekend).  I scanned my barcode, eyeballed the cardio machines - no sight of my homie.  I did my stretching, a couple of weight machines, then hit the treadmill.  I did a smooth 2.1 miles, then decided to hit the sauna. 

When I walked in - guess who was sitting there?  Ole girl!   I went and sat down and within two seconds, raised my hand to get her attention and told her exactly what I typed out before - that I've been watching her all this time and she's done SOOO well and how I keep coming because I know SHE will keep coming. 

Guess what?  She told me that she's been watching ME and she keeps coming cause *I* keep coming.    She said I REALLY put my work down and she keeps pushing from watching me!!! She had been back in the mornings starting Wednesday and noticed *I* hadn't been in (had a car accident Wed morning, Thursdays are not my gym day).   The reason I hadn't seen her lately was due to work schedule - but she'd been coming in the evening - but now she's back to her usual.

THAT was a great feeling.  I am soooo  thankful I got the chance to say what I wanted to say to her - and I got a pat on my back in return and wasn't even looking for it! 

This upcoming Sunday may not be Easter, but today is a Good Friday.  

Let's kick this holiday weekend off right fam!

MM I had to come out of lurk mode to tell you thanks for sharing this story.  I get so mad at myself when I let an opportunity to tell someone how they inspire me pass. I'm glad you got a second opportunity!  You ain't hard............LOL
