Hello Again - Been Off of Here for Awhile
Hello everyone,
My six year anniversary is in a couple of weeks and I'm trying to get back on track. My weight loss stalled after a hysterectomy in April 2006, and started increasing after I went on hormones. I've also been unemployed for the last 2 years except for a couple of short term temp assignments.
The bariatric vitamins and supplements became too expensive for me to purchase. I bought store vitamins; chewable calcium citrate, B12 & liquid Centrum. Sometimes I bought regular multi-vitamins & just crushed them. I also took the B12 shot when I could until the prescription ran out.
I have an appointment with my surgeon on 9/15 to discuss my options to deal with weight gain. I haven't gained it all back but enough to be concerned. I ordered some sample vitamins & protein powder from Bariatric Advantage & Unjury. I can't remember the other websites I used to order from. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome back Lisa! My best to you on getting back on track.
My only suggestion is to go back to basics....Get in lots of water, try to fill up on the protein, then get in a little bit of the good carbs, get back to exercising regularly, and it looks like you already got it regarding the vitamins.
Checking in here and holding yourself accountable is also key. There are a couple of daily post here that will help at keeping you on track.

You will find that there are plenty of people here who will be glad to give you a kick in the butt to get it in gear. LOL...it's all done with love because we all need a reminder from time to time.
