Vegas Wedding...NOT!!!

thats how the other bridesmaids feel, and im kinda in the middle cause although i still got beef bout that whole mess, ill still talk with her...unfortunately she really dont think it was THAT BAD where erybody gotta be upset...it shows me shes selfish

Well...she's either a VERY selfish person OR highly embarrassed about the whole affair which is why the apology was not sincere or easily forthcoming.  Just going by what you stated....I am going to go with the former.  Dayum....her mom made her apologize.  Furthermore, she still wanted to make the whole trip ABOUT her AND her new job even though she put you all through so much trouble. I hope to heyl.....ya'll did not give her any gifts. If it had been me....I would have turned that shyt around as best as I could...offered my sincerest apology AND made it all about YOU....my friends who went out on a limb. I would have told you all the truth made it a Waiting to Exhale Get Away for the Girls AND did everything in my power to ensure YOU all had a good time!!!! Resolution of any resentment, hurt feeling etc...would have been my main goal.  Unfortunately...by the looks of things....I guess I should be looking out for future episode of Judge Joe Brown..... Please Please.....don't take her to Judges Mathis or Judy......NOW that would be highly embarrassing. Sorry...that you are having to go through this...I can tell you are a true friend to her....hope she appreciate you for it.

In my Whitney voice...hell to da nawl!  She did not handle it the cancellation the way she should have.  I would forgive her and I would not sue because it would require too much time additional money and she ain't worth it.

Wow..just wow., this so called friend of yours is pretty selfish and downright RUDE. I tend to choose my friends very carefully, I don't' care for women that are selfish, jealous hearted or catty.  I don't befriend women like this.

It may not be worth suing unless you were out of more than $1000 dollars, I would just chalk it up and as lesson learned and that friend would no longer be a friend of mine, that is just unprofessional rude and selfish behavior.

P.S. I am getting married very soon and having a destination wedding also in Lake Tahoe and my fiancee is actually paying for all attendees, that is how WE treat our friends.

well, shes not jealous hearted or catty, but very professional...the reason why she turned it into a "new job" party was cause she got a promotion and had to relocate to another state...so she was dealing with that along with planning a wedding...

yeah, it was a lesson learned for me, i tell ya...and because of that lesson, i will also still be friends with her...congradulations on your wedding...
