After this vacation and all the rain we have decided that we need a nice warm vacation,  probably caribbean, but not one of the over tracked place like Bahamas, Jamacia, or the like, even though Becca is dying to stay at the Atlantis.

I am going to look for a private island somewhere very remote.

My kid's father (my ex) is Jamaican so we go there darn near every year so they can see their grandparents and other relatives BUT I have told them that next year...I want to go some where else. I have Australia on my mind. I can't wait until they are old enough so that I can ship them off to their grandparents AND I can go my separate way on my excursions.  Right now...I just don't trust letting them fly escorted by the airline personnel...shoot half the time...those people aren't paying attention to anything.

The remote island sounds lovely....Fiji, Roatan Island....God....I bet one of the Greek Islands would be out of this world!!! If I had the means....Dubai would be on my must see list.

Don't waste your time on Dubai, it is so hot everything is gear toward indoor living,  even the ski slopes are inside.  We almost went year before last but after talking to some of our other globe treker friends and hearing how disappointed they were we decided to skip it altogether.

We were suppose to do Fiji, Thailand, Japan, China this summer but then our government put out a travel halt on Americans going to Thailand so we canceled it.   Then we were suppose to go to Austraia but the part we were going to is really cold during the winter, our summer is their winter, so that is how we ended up chosing the Brisih Isles.

@ even the ski slopes are inside

Not that I would be putting my fat ass on any slopes BUT Wow.....I did not know that.... I had to google that just to see....now that's wild. I was always fascinated with Dubai...because of that one hotel that looks like a sail boat....LOL...I guess thats not  a good enough reason to spend thousands of dollars on a vacation..that far away...lol.

Yep, that is why I wanted to go to Dubai for the achitecture, but it is not worth it when you can get really close views of it online.   It is not worth the 120 degrees of heat for me.

Yeah I wanted to see the really cool sail boat building and the palm island, and the building that looks like a wave but upon talking to my fellow globe trekers, who are harder core travelers than I am, they convinced me that it is just not worth it.

Hey KK,  you can look at them when you get home,  i'm going to leave them up for a while.

One of my favorite places to stay in London is Kensington Close, it has very small rooms, but it is in a great location close to shopping and the tube, everything is just a few minutes away.  They don't have internet though.

Novotel is another hotel I stay in in London, it is the one off of the Hammersmith exit.   It is not as good a location as Kensington Close but it is not to far from anything either, it's a couple blocks walk from Trafalgar Square.  They have 4 computers in the lobby (apple)

I have phone numbers and addresses, so when time comes close to you leaving if you want some info just let me know.   You have to take her to my favorite London pizza joint and have my favorite pizza, it is so good.
