I did ok yesterday.  Carbs were high because I had Chinese including rice and an eggroll.  Overall I behaved well, calories under control, vits and water in check, protein goal met.

Exercise is not going as planned this week.  My hearts in it but my body is saying hell the fkcu no.  I know better than to argue with my body because I will loose every time.

Today I will keep the protein up and stay on top of the water, vits etc.  Its a higher calorie day so carbs will be up.  I'm down a pound and a half for the week, yay.  Hoping to make it two pounds for the week total.

I ran 3.1 miles this morning -and am up to 1mile at a stretch @ 4.6mph.  I was able to do 4.7mph for about 3/4 of a mile total - 3 fast walk intervals.  Felt pretty dayum good!

I will work out with my personal trainer tomorrow morning - I'll put that Sat morning back into the 'rotation' - to gear up for the half marathon in Nov.

Eating today - Imma do what I wanna do.   That was 500 cal I burned this morning, my reg intake is 1700 cal - so that's 2100 total.  I had a biscuit and bacon this morning, so that was 300cal.  My boss is taking me to lunch - can you say steak, please? LOL!!!!

this 5-HTP seems to really be helping me, I'm going to stick to it

Its sf creamsicles/ fudgsicles/ popsicles for me.  I like the tea but I need a few cups and about 12 hours.  Today I need fast results, lol.  Enough sugar alcohols will have breakfast cleared out in time for lunch.

I going to give that 5HTP a try. I did my homework and realize I had it confused with a whole other set of initials.  How much do you take?

sneaky azz boss cncld my lunch today - bastid!!!!  Now I gotta find my OWN steak.... LOL

I have the Natrol brand - 200mg time release pills.  Now some will tell you their doc told them time release pills don't work for RNY folk - my doc told me whatever's cleaver will stand the weather (he ain't really say that but it was a nice rhyme to me) so I take one each morning and it works just fine all day.  I had a previous brand with 50mg - I took three each day, I could feel it 'wearing' off just before each meal - I have consistency with the time release.

I got mine off Walgreens site:

I did good yesterday with food, exercise, and vitamins. Still lacking in the water department. I am going to start slow with the 48oz again and then move up over time. I may have to include some crystal light for a few days as well. I use to love water, but I feel like its just another chore. I will figure it out. I have lost the five pounds that I gained. Once I get down to my lowest I seem to sabotage myself. I guess I still have fear of what I will look like when I get skinny. I just have to push through and motivate myself to keep going. Time to feed the kids and start my morning exercise routine. Today I will be having shakes for breakfast and lunch. Three healthy snacks - apple, almonds, and banana. Dinner? Keep up the good work Its good to give your body a break from exercise. When you return it feels so much better. Like the energy is restored. You will back at goal with cushion in no time. Enjoy your day!

I wish this was my normal 'rest' within my exercise routine.  Its more like a body in revolt but I should be ok in a couple days.

Self sabatage is not uncommon.  Its fear of the unknown and for me missing eating whatever I want when I want.  I don't dislike doing what I'm doing but I'm not going to pretend I don't mis not thinking about what I eat.  Especially after the first six to eight months when I was so far from goal but it seemed like I was on this post op diet forever.

Have no fear, you'll stop loosing when you like what you see.  Few folks ever get crackhead skinny.  We keep some of the excess weight.
