I think that lil yella bastid is confusing the internet for his latest album sales.... his MUSIC is dead..... the net is just fine.
It was sheer genius for him to create '1999' back in the day - that was a steady revenue stream for real.....until.......

Now - he's stuck tryna find something to rhyme with '2020'

I tell ya it's all of that new found religion that's got him trippin' these days. He is definitely talented but since he started having his limo drivers pull up to folk's houses so that he could knock on their door and leave them a pamphlet to read, his music has been strugglin like Florida Evans, trying to feed her three kids in the late 70's. Sure there were some Good Times from him in the past but after the first listen to some of his new stuff you're left thinking, "Dayum. Dayum. Dayum... why did I buy this ****"

I knew it was gonna be the last or close to last concert I paid to see him when he did a ad lib riff on the bass and had us in the audience shouting 'Play that mudda****** bass' - then for the next song.....
It was Kirk Franklin's 'Stomp'. umm - I had to sit my rum and coke down.... ain't feel right singin bout the lawd WHILE drinking.... I usually at least stop a couple hours before church......
