I actually support this.

The truly scary part about this, atleast in my mind, is the logic that accompanies this new law:

If less people are sent to jail for minor cocaine violations, which will be now considered a somewhat petty crime, then the notion of early parole for other more heinous criminal acts due to prison over-crowding will become a thing of the past. 

That means, BAF boys and girls, convicted criminals would now have to do 85 - 100% of their time in prison for their crimes. Imagine that - a criminal serving time for a crime they actually commited.  Judges on the otherhand will now most likely see this as a chance to give a person found guilty the maximum time for other crimes to make up for this.  Lindsey Lohan dodged a bullet! 

So all of those youngstas that wanna run around like your favorite rappers with a little bit of street cred "likkin a shot or two inna de air" at your distant relative just because he looked at you funny will now be forced on the inside to grab your ankles, grunt, and bear it for a whole lot longer than what you're used to under this reduction in sentencing.  Good luck.
