HAPPY RE-BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello Family!!!!!!

It has really been a Loooonnnnggg time since I have been on here and to see some familiar faces!!!!!!  I can't believe that it has been 6 years since my WLS and I and still attempting daily to work with this tool!

I have had some weight gain over the years, but who hasn't?  I am proud to say that I am still under 200 lbs. and a size 16.....which I am truly thankful for.  I still struggle everyday in making the right choices in my diet, and try not to revert back to my old way of cooking.  But being a "Southern Girl" that doesn't always work!  lol 

I have been truly blessed in this surgical process......the only problems I have had is what I put in my mouth!  I still have dumping if I eat too much sugar or too rich or greasy foods.  The tummy KNOWS when I have made the wrong choices and will quickly let me know!  I may not be at the lowest of my weight loss but I am NOT were I was! I truly think I was in denial when I first started this WLS journey.....my weight was probably closer to 280 lbs. instead of where I started noticing the weight at (the doctor's office) 265 lbs.  Either way, at 5'2"......that is TOOOOOO MUCH!!!  And in this process, I have developed some bad habits, but we all have at this stage.....I will have to recognize them and try to change it and get back on track......it is hard but it can be done.

My family (my kids) have really supported me through this process and the rest of my family are still amazed that I have kept the weight off....and watching them blow up like balloons.  I will keep praying for grace and mercy to help me daily with this process.
