The junk food is calling me.  Further confirmation that wls does not cure the head issues.  Just knowing its in the house is enough to keep snacks at the edge of my conciousness all day.  Today will be a tough one because the head issues have me in a vice grip.  I've already started with a less than steller choice for breakfast.  

Today I will get my protein in.  If I stick with protein first there is no room in the pouch for the other stuff.  Also, I am never truly hungry when I stick with protein first.  Water and vits will be on point as well.  A full workout is planned for the day.  

I'll be eating maintenance calories today.  However, I'm easing myself back into active wl mode.  I've *****ed, moaned, whined, complained over my situation as you can always count on me to do publically and unabashed.  Now its time to address the problem.

GAS has been my issue for the past few days...especially yesterday and Sat.  Thankfully the worse part was the weekend (sorry wifey :( and kids).  But, I think I narroed it down to that tater salad she cooked last week.  Man, was that thang GOOD!!!  Was the first time since the WLS and the worst gas I've had in some time, so I'm guessing it was the potatoes. 

But anyway, still trying to move.  Got cardio tonight.  Did tread mill and stepper Saturday.  Might do the same tonight.  Also did leg toning. 

Trying to keep things extra lean this week.  Going to LA for a week next week so trying to keep the extra carbs in check!!

Other than that, good to go.  Have an awesome Week!!!!

As usual you are working it with the work out. 

I know the gass a little too well.  All starchy carb foods are the source for me.  Just another reason to hold the carbs in check.

Hit the gym this morning - weights and 30min run.  2.2 miles without feeling the need to CRY during the run intervals.....BUT ..... my motivation during them is getting to be a challenge.

I'm going to redo my playlist, I got a book on CD - I'll load that and see if I can get a good enough distraction.

I don't just have issues, I have subscriptions!  I'm saving on the newsstand price.......

The boredom and need for distraction kept me from running in the past.  MsLee's reccomended music did the trick for me.  Not what I would listen too normally but for a run it works.  I'm guessing it works because I would not normally listen to this type of mix.

Let me know what works for you.  Anything to stay motivated.

Time to break into toning mode! I need to start with squats and core workouts. I may just look around for a good lower body workout dvd. I have never in all my years seeen my thighs as jiggly as they are right now. I walk them my thighs follow. I hope some type of firmness would appear, but I guess I just streched my skin too much being soo big. Today I begin the day with low cal and end with low cal..the middle was a lot of cal., but I did stay within my calorie limit and I got in some TM and tae bo. Plus I ran errands and took the kids to toy r us to look around so that we could get out the house for a day. Pretty busy day.
The key to weight loss is finding what best works for the individual.  Some people drink protein shakes all day, some people have low cal snacks all day, some people become vegans, and etc. In order for me to be successful I need to find what works best for me.
