Hello,

Question... other than high protein.  Do you eat special foods such as "low calorie/carb bread/tortilla wraps", greek yogurt, etc.  or do you basically eat what you'd like (minus sugar, fatty foods) in moderation?

I'm having a hard time finding all these foods that I see being posted on the other Forums.

Answers are greatly appreciated!

I do both.  I buy lc substitutes for foods like bread, flour and macaroni.  I eat the regular stuff but mostly when eating out.  It makes a big difference for my calorie and carb count.

I discovered that many of these foods are mixed in with the normal stuff.  The diet foods don't have a lc section in my area.  By reading every package I found that several brands of soft flour tortillas are under seven net carbs.  The packaging  is not obvious.  I was ordering stuff online that was there all the time.

I found dreamfields macaroni at walmart and toufayan lc pita at most supermarkets near me reading packages.  The most convenient store does not have many lc items but I plan to ask the grocery manager to order them since they already carry the brands.

Thank you Zero.  I think I'll have to do the same (ask the manager) especially about the greek yogurt.

I have to say my diet consist of both.  When I see low carb, high protein, and low sugar items I tend to buy them.  Mostly I jus****ch my portions.
