If you slip, get right back on it and skip the self pity. You do well far more often than you screw up. Congratulate yourself throughout the day for those victories. Engage in positive self talk to get over the rough moments. They are just moments.
We all slip from time to time. So what? Remember you've done far more positive than negative since wls. Even after little re gain, you're still not where you were. And, you can get where you want to be.

LV'N MY RNY. WORKING FOR ME BECAUSE I WORK FOR IT.
I have not tracked as a should the past few weeks but I'm back on it today. As much a I don't feel like tracking today this is for life. Unless I want to wake up crying about my weight I'd best just do it right.
Speaking of weight I still have edema although it is subsiding. Much of the swelling has gone down and about half the weight gain. I'm really hoping when its all done my weight is back to normal but I won't count on it. With me there is generally some fat along with the water weight.
I've been on the carbs because its easy to eat and sf muffins and cookies require no prep. I need to get my protein in. For basic nutrition if not for weight loss. So its back to tracking and making that protein goal.
I know I did better yesterday because I discovered Arby's thanks to another OH'er. (I swear I was raised in America. I just never had Arby's before, lol.) A 5 oz sandwhich makes two meals and provides half a days protein. Its a start.

If you keep focusing, you may be surprised when the edema leaves. My focus today is staying under my calories for the day and protein 1st. I had a good workout already to start the day off right and I feel good!! Working out in the AM makes my days go better overall health wise.

Thanks for th egood wishes. If focus won't do it then drugs will. I can't focus on anything but getting rid of this fluid. Its making me miserable.
I am a believer in the early am workout. I've read that working out upon waking gets you burning stored fat sooner during your workout and revs up your metabolism for the entire day. My surgeon reccomends this routine also. It works well for me. I have better wl results when I work out this way.

I am so very proud to say........I did it last night and some! I went to my local high school track and got my butt moving. My buns are on fire now but it was worth it. I think I may have to start jogging in a girdle. Am I the only one???? My butt really burns when I jog and it's so weird. Nevertheless, I feel like I'm always talking about it but NOW I'm being about it!
I will google some "weight lifting" ideas today. I'm not really sure how to go about it but I really need to work on my arms. I do have the P90X DVDs too but I don't know if I can hang..........I don't want to burn out.
