Are You Interested In Soulful Cooking For The Bariatric Lifestyle

Having been raised on Soul/Southern Cusine, I found it difficult to transition to eating "healthier -high protein style" foods after bariatric surgery.

Because I love not only to eat, but cook as well, a coworker suggested that I write my own "Bariatric Cookbook of Soul Food Recipes"  as we were jointly going through the process and struggling together.

I was able to create a few dished with alternative ingredients that are yet equally as satisfying as the food that i remember having in my youth.

I now have generated a product that produces a guide through my personal experience, photos and struggles with bariatric choices. I have come up with a 100 page cook book filled with soul-filled soulfood/southern recipes that accomodate at bariatric diet.  High protein, low fat/sugars, alternative "sweeteners" and full of flavor.

I do have a publisher, copywrite and  potential release date for September.

I am simply wondering, how many post ops would be interested in such a document and find it resourceful? Your input is greatly appreciated!

Truthfully, I can't remember the last time I purchased a cookbook.  Whenever I need a recipe I just do a web search.

I would be interested. I happen to collect cookbooks with recipes of various types of cuisines and a Bariatric Cookbook would be an interesting addition to my collection.

I LOVE soul food, and would love to see a lower-fat healthier version of some of the traditional yumminess I've eaten over the years.
