That suck that you're still going through it. My Carafate was bumped up to four/day and the pain was still there. The fistula was discovered during the EGD and tomorrow's upper GI series will show him the extent of the damage.
I'm so upset. First I complained about being fat. Then I complained about being too skinny. When will the cycle end???

Everything on my end is looking good. I take the 50,000 twice a week and I take another 5,000 daily. All of my labs have come back fine. I ended up changing doctors. I really like this new one. She is a bit militant but I like her.

Hey Lady. I hadn't been online mucch lately. Have they set a date for surgery yet? Between the girls being home and your family, and me we should be able to work out a schedule to keep you well well cared for. Let me know when surgery will be, and if you need anything.

This is what the surgeon's office told me:
Hospital stay 3-5 days.
I will go home with a surgical drain in my remnant stomach for SIX weeks.
It will still be OPEN...aaarrrgghhh.
Cut from under the breast bone to belly button.
No staples....internal stitches.
The request for the authorization will not go out until my Doc's appointment (next week) so for now I'm looking at mid-August. If the pain continues to intensify, the insurance will harassed like there is no tomorrow and surgery will be moved up.
I'll have a nurse to come in and dress the wound and empty the drain. Remember, I now have ONE girl at home (the other is now with her mother...girl we HAVE to talk) and my son. Mike will pick up the slack and help get Zach up and ready for school. Mieka will be at the local community college and will be taking the bus...hopefully.
