Congratulate yourself throughout the day when you do well . Engage in positive self talk to get through the tough times. Although we all slip from time to time, remember you've done far more positive than negative since wls. Even after little re gain you're still not where you were and you can get where you want to be.

LV'N MY RNY. WORKING FOR ME BECAUSE I WORK FOR IT.
I've een sick for a few weeks now and I am way off my game. I have not been over eating but I'm not eating well. SF cookies and muffins were pretty much it yeasterday except for a tamale from a local Mexican place. Very little protein. Soft foods are easiest and I don't feel like fixing even a shake theses days.

Get well soon. I lost weight this morning so I was very pleased! This week I am going to focus on protiens foods and eliminating those carbs. Hopeful I will lose another pound or two by Thursday my next weigh in. I am hoping for 2 pounds actually......:-) I only weigh twice a week now. That has been working better for me.

Nothing to update for me. Still maintaining, no exercise (not just because of laziness, arthritis pain) and not a real good appetite but forcing myself to get back to basics with the protein first rule.
I need to do better with the water and vits.

I'm on it!!! Did 1.9miles on the treadmill in 26min today - it ain't a marathon, but dammit - it's way better than my before WLS time of 1.9 miles in 26 DAYS......
I stocked the house up, so I should be able to avoid eating out this week - starting with my packed lunch I brought to work today.
My plan now to train for the 5K is to run on MWF and do weight training on TTh..... I'll try that for the next two weeks and see how I like it.
Water and fluids still the challenge - I've started drinking Powerade Zero because of the running - I actually feel better and haven't had any of my deathly leg cramps, which tells me it's worth it.
I'm looking to have a clean week - so I'm focused!

LOL - I have no clue what the couch to 5K is. I just read a couple articles and based on what I know about how *I* workout - I have my own approach.....

Must have been before I found BAF. I'm slow. It took a few years on OH to discover there were multiple forums, lol.
I'm talking about the music Lee uses. Its a good way to pace yourself. I took a leap forward cause my cardio capacity was already high. Wherever you stand you may like one of these running programs. There are also a lot of great work out mixes for any type of workout.
