Well thanks for the vote of confidence.  Despite my rarely taking things seriously, it means a lot.

Girl you've been through a lot and still have a lot to endure. Its ashame what nurses are going through theses days.  Just  insane that health care workers must struggle for health care benefits.  Amazing how you tough it out and stay positive.

I'm also afraid of malabsorption but my surgeon went over the whole metabolism thing.  In the end he was so right.  DS is too scary for me but I'm glad I went with the RNY over the VSG.  I still frar malnutrition but it keps me focused on  my protein and vits.  Hope it all works out for you and glad your mom's on board now.

Yesterday stayed on track for the most part. Dinner I had a little more cal than usual, but still stayed within my cal. limits. Today I began the day with some Greek yogurt and cereal. It is Sunday, which I have made my rest day from exercise, but I still may get in a mile on the TM> Just depends on how I am feeling later on. My meal plan consist of less calories since I won't be burning as much as during the week. I am feeling very proud of myself. I can see the finish line! I still have not had any wine. I wanted some yesterday, but still said no thanks. I prefer the weight loss. I am not afraid anymore. I see my numbers going down and feeling happy. 160 here I come!
I am still going to take it one day at a time. Next week I am going to add in some core exercise and thigh exercise. That's right. sit-ups and lunges. Time to work on toning. I have been trying to add in some 2 pound weights with tae bo. Right now I am doing two days a week...20 mins. I am going to increase the time and days gradually. I am trying to build myself up because its not as easy as it looks on tv. I know that in the long run it will all pay off. I am working on building a better me.

LOL I like toning cause its easy.  Cardio  is what kicks my ass but painfully I masterd it cause my cardiologist gave me no choice.  You're already doing it with the tm and tae bo.  To add toning will be a breeze for you.
